I have a Dish Hopper and like it fine except the 30 second skip forward button on the remote can not be programed for a different skip forward length of time. Is it feasible to program a universal remote to make the Dish hopper skip forward for only 20 seconds? I was thinking that perhaps a universal remote button could be programed to combine the Hopper's 30 second skip forward function with the Hoppers 10 second skip backward function all with the single click of a button? I do that manually now and find it too tedious.

If the above is possible, what (cheap) remote would be a good choice for doing this? I would use this remote only to do the 20 second skip forward (such as between downs while watching football games) and use my regular Dish remote for all other functions. Accordingly, I don't care about other features of the universal remote, other than compatibility with Dish Hopper.

Thanks in advance for any advice.
