I had a large construction company call me today and ask if I could meet with them about a solution to vandalism and job site analysis. We are an IC realtime dealer and they have basically a weatherproof box with standard dvr and cameras connected to a verizon account. Not sure this is the best way to go.
Most cameras I have found are designed for time lapse and job site analysis. They take a picture every 5-15 minutes. if the customer wants to stream live to his phone, he will need internet at the jobsite. Earthcam dot net has some really cool options for a builder.
At most of the job trailers around here, it is rare they will have internet. So either i convince the Builder to get internet for video streaming, Or he is stuck with a non video option. I have thought about building a trailer and renting it out to job sites.
anybody doing jobsite cameras?
