Joel and Stoobie, thanks for replying. I have tapped the screen and checked the open ports. I am really stummped. I have tried deleting the com port driver in device manager and restarting the computer. I just can not find the magic touch to get either remote seen by any computer I have..it is past frustating.

Any more ideas I will gladly try....Dave D
