Hi, I have 4 x Zotac ZBOX systems running XBMC, with USB IR adapters, my installer tried programming MX-890's and MRF-350's to control them, but it has issues.

He used a Windows MCE remote as device, when the cabinet door is open all works fine, when we close the cabinet door the systems no longer respond.

It seems as if the USB IR receiver is too sensitive or the IR codes are not quite matching.

He tried using the blaster, and the discrete little eye thingies, and adjusted the gain, no go.
Only with using the blaster and open cabinet door will it work.

He also tried learning the commands from the remote, more success, still unreliable.

Any ideas how to get the IR receiver to work?
Or suggestions for alternate USB IR receivers that work well?
