I own some of the Philips WLAN > IR repeaters but IMO none is very sensitive and, er, they are downright ugly!

I have been reading many threads about how to learn, there was one with an exe file that obviously went lost over the years (?).
Guess Dave Houston removed the link, maybe to prevent rights infringement?

Problem is my amps (25W each on standby and I've got five of 'em! + in summer their fans come on...) aren't remote operated, so my dwindling hope is to find a way to learn a hex code for one of these household lighting remotes from Conrad I have...they work consistently for lighting.
