Current setup a self programed MX850 (had the 700 but a button fell off)

What I like about it is the ability to assign buttons and macros, repeat signals, page through functions.

So Why do I need to replace it? the buttons are no longer working. Not the programing, but you have to really push a button to get it to respond.

I understand that URC no longer likes the idea of having consumers program their own remotes. I however have no desire to have a pro come to my house to do it. (note I am not asking for software, just an opinion on comparable remotes)

So that rules out URC for my next purchase, any thoughts on others that compare? I don't want a full touch screen, like the buttons. I'm hesitant on Logitech as they appear to be limited on the macro/programmable side (might be wrong on this)

Requirements: 6+ devices
Learning
Macro's for power/input
Computer programmable and backup
Buttons not touch screen (touch screen possible just not primary)
RF/IR Capability
Tivo 1/2 capability

PS, could have sworn I posted here before, but maybe I have just been a lurker as my account wasn't here!
