The MSC400 will behave like a MRF350 and just pass RF-IR without any programming. You're just making a leap of faith that all of your macro commands will be received and executed while the RF gateway is open and they are executing.
Why wouldn't you want to run your macros from the MSC aside from having to rerecord them in your program?
