I have an Onkyo TX-SR606 and it came with a a remote, model RC 710M. I have a Comcast remote and have successfully programmed the AUX function to control the receiver. There are 2 codes:
30135
30842
Both codes seem to work as they should, however the former turns the device on but not off, while the latter turns the device off but not on. This is a known shortcoming.
The original remote has a single Standby/On button which turns the device on and off. I would like to reprogram the Comcast AUX power button (via Setup->994) to use the 5 digit code for the standby/on button, but I cannot find it anywhere online. Please help. Thanks.
