Here's the other flaw in your fantasy. You DO NOT OWN Integration Designer, RTI does. You license the right to use it.

You can thus extract and use what you want for yourself.

Since you don't own the software, you DO NOT have the right to extract what you want from it.

It is theft. Just because you aren't walking out of a store with a pilfered item in hand, doesn't make it any less a crime.

Just ask Kaleidiscape how this interpretation is working for them. And in their case, you actually do buy the media and it is for personal use.
