Thanks....after installing Wizzit on XP so that the USB drivers installed, and then pointing XP to the driver directory. Boy, those were the days.

The first try also resulted in a dead unit....I had said to keep my config.
I tried again, and of course since it was not there, it just overwrote with the default config and installed the firmware. I had seen this happen from the other PC also....but this time it came to life with the default config. Then I downloaded my config and it is working.

Now I just have to determine if I have an IR issue.

In reviewing threads of ancient history, I did not some mention of IR issues with the TSU7000 where certain firmware versions introduced IR issues where it didn't fire enough, or double-fired, and delays had to be put in. Did the Marantz firmware have any of these issues?

I mean it works....but it just does not seem to be as quick and responsive in firing commands as my RC5200 was.

I guess I'll see if this new firmware makes a difference.
