LED strip (sold on a reel) - between 2 and 3mm of thickness.
The WAC bars look like they're from 1980. :)
If you're installing professionally this is a no-brainer as the cost (to you) is practically nothing when compared to so many other products (including the above-linked WAC). Not including remote-switching for $30 you can easily do 16 linear feet (powered).
