I've commented along the lines of...

"I've been in full time work for the almost 41 years: 35 of which have been on shifts, and the last 9 on permanent nights.

Generally my health is okay: I know my blood pressure and cholesterol levels are. However, I am a thicker around the waist and I do get periods of disturbed appetite and digestion - particularly the latter, the cause of my recently having several days off work (the first in over 10 years).

Further points to note. I don't smoke, drink in moderation and do not (so I believe) have a reliance on sedatives and/or stimulants."
