I'm not sure a guy who's been using a $20 radio shack remote for 10 years is looking to drop a grand or more on an RTI and hire a programmer. If I'd been looking to replace my 2000 Honda Civic, would you recommend a new Bently?
Tim, if you can dig out that old cable, you can easily add MCE codes to your 8910. Our software has greatly improved since the early days of using excel. If you want a new remote, the $15 RCA RCRP05B is very similar to your 8910 but lacks the LCD. It has MCE codes. Harmony is another good option. Decent ones start around $50. I also like Xsight. The $30 12G is excellent, and the $70 18G is even better.
