What I'm after is a remote that can control a Denon 4311CI that is in another room (the 4311 has RS-232 and Ethernet interfaces, as well as IR) but that not only sends it signals, but can receive feedback as well. In particular the volume level.

Is such a thing available, or perhaps more accurately, available at a price that isn't far more than the receiver itself?
