I'm looking for a remote for my bedroom background music system, which uses a Meridian 551 integrated amplifier. My criteria are as follows:

(1) Will control at least power on/off and volume up/down on a 551. (Nothing else really needed.)
(2) Small
(3) Clean in appearance
(4) Inexpensive
(5) Ideally but optionally, somewhat moisture-resistant, in case of coffee spills or the like.


As the 551 didn't come with a remote (Meridian sold it separately back in the day) I currently use my old Harmony 676, which was supplanted by a Harmony One in the main system. It works fine. Logitech, amazingly enough, had the codes for this old and obscure "high end" integrated in their database. However, my fiancee simply doesn't like the look of a big, complicated remote on the nightstand. She wants something simpler, more the form factor of the KEF Picoforte system that we used to use:

If it has the Meridian codes, great. If not, I presume I could teach a simple learning remote from my Harmony, right?

Is there anything similar to that (or simpler) in a universal? I haven't seen any on an amazon search, but then again perhaps I didn't know the right keywords.
