Being a Sony freak...it was quite painful to purchase something other than my 'favorite' brand...but I did it. After a solid 2 hours of comparing video (couldn't really compare audio) at my local Audio/Video store, I chose the Panasonic A110 for the most bang for your buck. I'm not interested in bells and whistles, and A110 has all the standard features of a generation 2 player, plus DTS. I've had it 3 weeks, and in combination with my Dolby Digital receiver, I love it. I bought it off the 'net for $362.00 including shipping.
