I have been using an old Pronto RU940 for years. It has serverd me well.
But I recently decided to buy an RU950 off EBay as an upgrade as the original one is now somewhat temperamental when trying to download files to it via a USB-Serial convertor.
I have a Pioneer VSX-2020K Av. Amp and it has a number of discrete codes which are actaully two codes. For example to set the surround mode to Dolby PLII Movie you send
Device 165, command 154 (A59A), followed by device 165, command 0 (A500) I made the hex for this using irtool, and programmed up the RU940 using two separate codes on the one button and it worked flawlessy (and still does).
I took the ccf file and converted it to pcf for the RU950 and everything is working fine expect these two part codes. They just don't do anything.
I tried a few things like adding a delay between the two commands. But just can't get this to work with the RU950. I even tried learning from the RU940 on the RU950 when pressing the button, but couldn't get that to work either.
