Chances are very high you'll experience the Macrovision problem doing that. You'd probably need to get a Macrovision remover (such as the Sima Color Corrector). I'm extermely surprised your TV has no RCA jacks on it - they have been a standard for a long long time. My Sony stereo 14" TV built in 1986 has a RCA video input plus RCA audio out!
