I am able to install the MX-950 editor on my Windows 7 computer and create remote configuration files with the editor. However, when I try to transfer those files to and from the remote, I get a "failed to load library - rapi.dll" error. Rapi.dll is a Windows ActiveSync file, and the error goes away after installing ActiveSync. However, I am unable to install ActiveSync on Windows 7 or Vista. Windows 7 refuses to install saying something to the effect of ActiveSync is not supported and will make the computer unstable. So the only way I've found to transfer files is to use Windows XP, which is very inconvenient.

Does anyone have a solution for using the MX-950 editor on Windows 7?

You might try this - I know it's a MX-3000 - but the procedure with Windows Mobile Device Center worked for me with the MX-3000 and the MX-5000 as far syncing the remote with Win 7 64.
