World Reacts to Steve Jobs’ Death

People worldwide are paying tribute to Jobs, who changed the way we listen to music, use mobile phones and play on computers.

Steven P. Jobs, Apple co-founder, chairman and former CEO, passed away on Oct. 5, 2011 after battling pancreatic cancer. He was just 56 years old.

When Apple made the announcement of Jobs' passing, tributes starting pouring in all over the Internet, especially on Twitter, Facebook and major tech blogs.



Jobs changed the way we live our lives, and he will be dearly missed by many.

The website Storify has helped get a glimpse at just how many lives Jobs has touched. Storify is a social media aggregation tool that "bundles up tweets, TwitPics, Facebook updates, Flickr photos and other elements onto one page" about a specific subject.
