Thanks for the suggestions! Would the Toshiba SD3109 be my best buy overall in this category? I saw one last night for $298.00 on-line and liked the dual tray feature in addition to the other features.

I now have a Pro-Logic receiver, but plan to upgrade to a Sony STRDE935 with Dolby Digital after Christmas.

I have a friend who says all I sould consider is a Sony DVD, but I wanted a more rounded opinion.

What do you think about the Toshiba SD3109? I've heard SO much about Lip Sync problems with the Sony DVD Players that I'm unsure as to what to do.
