If you have any plans on going component then I believe you need to step up to the 530 or 550. If you have no plans on using component then this is probably the best DVD playre for the money (~$300) If your tv has component input I suggest the Sony 530. Is you tv 16:9? If so I suggest the SD2109 because it has component and is priced in the same neighborhood as the Sony 330. For a 4:3 tv non-component the Sony 330 is the best way to go.
