I added a one terabyte ethernet drive to my network yesterday and am slowly copying my DVD and Music files to it. Once that's done, I'll be able to access those files anywhere I am with internet access, and if I have something that can play the files I can play them.

If anyone else is interested, BestBuy has the drive I'm talking about for sale this week.

Painful thing is that to copy to it I have to use an internet site which means my copy rate is limited to my network speed. The drive is visible an accessible on my local gigabyte network at gigabyte speeds, but I can't write to it over that path. Every time I try I get a "Permission Denied" error. The web interface is fine for small files and music files, but painfully slow for DVD copying.
