Persistence pays off. That flash of the command screen had a message: needs argument.
I found that out by opening the DOS screen using Run cmd, then working my way to the directory where I have hex2ccf.exe, then running it. Fortunately, John built a great error message into the program. The program needs to see: hex2ccf [source .hex file] [.ccf file to be created]
