Blu-ray 3D We Want for 2011
By Rachel Cericola
Will this be the year for Blu-ray 3D? Here are eight announced titles that could push you into the format.

Last year wasn’t exactly must-see as far as 3D was concerned. The technology was there, but when it came to content, we constantly felt like we were scrounging for the few morsels that were available.

The New Year has a slew of new possibilities for 3D. We’ve seen a lot of exciting announcements so far. VUDU recently announced plans to start streaming in 3D, HBO has 3D video on demand, and ESPN will continue to crank out certain 3D-worthy events.

Aside from the gorgeous imagery, it’s also pretty catchy. Scoring two Oscars for music, the film also spawned its own insanely popular Broadway production.
