2010 has been a great year for extreme and innovative technology on Electronic House. We’ve profiled amazingly creative designs, intuitive automation approaches, and over-the-top audio/video gear.

One of our roles, and biggest thrills, is to find the most interesting, aesthetically appealing and technologically impressive examples of home theater, home automation and multiroom audio systems.



Many of these were winners in our annual Home of the Year award. Hopefully you’ll find in this selection something to inspire your own Electronic House dreams.

Elegant Theater Mixes Highs and Mids
This home owner mixed high-end Crestron Controls and a Kaleidescape DVD server with more modest speakers and a projector. Every connected system in the house can be controlled from the comfy theater seats.
