Someone else is reporting that it uses an F12 protocol?

I've just done another learn, and it worked first time? It's a four button remote, numbered, and I use button 3 (they are frequency assignable).

I have no idea why it worked all of a sudden. I've always struggled with the learning part of these remotes.
