I have one of these things at work but it isn't going help much. As mentioned the hardware is very expensive and the discs cost twice what a film costs over here - if you can find them, that is. I have also read in the press that Pioneer was unable to demonstrate a disc burned on these machines being read by a conventional DVD player. I havn't tried it myself.
