I have seen this problem when sony first released their flat screens , is there any chance you can move the IR receiver furthur away from the TV.


You first need to find out if its radiated interferance or noise from the power supply.

Place a cover over the IR receiver and see if the interferance has gone away. if it has you may be able to make a cover with about a 4mm Dia hole in it.

if it noise from the power supply you need to move the IR reciver further away from the TV
