Inside Charlie Sheen's $7M Home
By Jason Knott
Home in Encino, Cali has several multipurpose rooms, mounted electronics, drop-down video screen and more.

Actor Charlie Sheen, star of "Two and a Half Men", has listed his former Encino, Calif. home for sale.

Ah, if walls could talk.

The home, which is listed for $6.95 million, sits on five acres of land in the San Fernando Valley city.

Who knows what sorts of Blu-rays Sheen has played on the flat panels given Sheen’s previous lurid shenanigans. The home has multiple flat panels in several multipurpose rooms, including a media room with a ceiling-mounted projector and drop-down screen that automatically lowers in front of the large plasma. In one bedroom, there is a flat panel and on-wall speakers mounted very high-up on the wall. Still another smaller LCD is mounted in a bathroom.

The home previously was the home of Al Jolson, the famous performer who starred in the first talkie in 1927, “The Jazz Singer.” According to Sotheby’s, Jolson and his wife, actress Ruby Keeler, did extensive remodeling to the home so it could double as a studio for Jolson to rehearse. The home appears to have wall-mounted loudspeakers in a well-appointed, mirrored workout room.

The 1934 home has seven bedrooms and eight bathrooms and is more than 8,500 square feet. It is also the former residence of Katy Sagal (of “Married with Children” fame) and Kirstie Allie (“Cheers”). Sheen purchased the home from Sagal in 1997.

Hanging Over the Fireplace
In one of Charlie Sheen’s media rooms, a flat-panel TV hangs above the fireplace. Just another average Joe, right?
