That's not at all what I meant. What I meant was rather than learning the deep innards of pronto hex codes and the NEC1 protocol (especially when provided with a solution like Jason did) I want to spend time learning and discussing the tools and the device themselves. I am not lazy and I am not, have not, and will not ever ask someone to "just make it work" (so much so that I had actually started decoding the hex codes that I had learned to see what was going wrong). I have already downloaded the installers and prontoscript guides and I am going through them, just as you suggested. I have an especially keen interest in the prontoscript side of things.
