The carrier frequency is not random , the frequency id determined buy the Device, DVD, TV etc, the most common is around 36Khz , but it does vary pre manufacture .
If your AVM30 has a filter of 38Khz on it it will only pass IR signals with a 38khz carrier, so you will have to use other outputs from the rfx to control the other devices.
