I have the interface in plan, but have not achieved to start the plan yet.
Forget the remote values. The xtreamer can be controlled via it's web server with an iphone/ipod/ipad or any smart phone/computer.
Pick WireShark and look for the codes that it uses for the communication. If you don't know how to do this I can help you with the comm, but don't have the time to write the interface. Let me know.
About the device, it has it's flaws (which are listed on forums of the official page, but none are really problematic in general, except it's crying fan) but overall performs great, especially for the price it has. Network streaming works great (you have to stream via wire the HD movies), overall I'm extremely satisfied with it. The only flaw that it has in a centrally controlled home theater - it must be turned on via ir, as it does not support WOL. But then all can be done via IP, two way comm.
