But PEP works fine, the problem is that the Pronto is not recognized as a HID device but as a disk drive.

my PC is self made. I checked my motherboard specs (Gigabyte) and it says that it's compliant.
But again, PEP works fine, it's the Pronto device that it's not recognized.

Any other idea?

If you are using a wireless usb you will have to disconnect that and then click the download button on the PEP 2 then it should work. On my Windows 7 i have a usb Keyboard and mouse what i do is us the mouse and i click on the download and hold it at the same time i unplug and let go of the button and if you get it right i will download to your TSU, or i sometimes put in my other usb mouse and then click it to download and that works. Problem is with the usb keyboard and mouse they use the same HID device. I can talk like the Phillips guy to the T, but this is what they said. If that is the problem for you. i hope this helps
