Thanks for the replies.

There is always a workaround. I just created a second button - one to turn on the speakers and one to turn them off. It was the only way to toggle between the three options skipping the option I didn't want.

Speaker Menu>on/center/off

So, to turn on: Menu>down>down>down>arrow right
To turn off: menu>down>down>down>arrow right>arrow right
