For further clarificiation.... I was connecting my TSU9600 directly to the laptop, not via the USB hub. Disconnecting the USB hub and having only the remote connected to the laptop via USB was what resolved the issue for me. When time permits I'm going to troubleshoot the issue further. Easy enough work around for now. Simply ensuring no other USB devices are connected to the laptop aside from the remote and I'm set to go.
