| About Me: | Retired male nurse needs help programming Phillips universal remote (CL019)for my Sony bare bones RDRVX515.
I got this Sony recorder to copy old movies from VHS tape to DVD. I knew @purchase that it was only the recorder. I've downloaded the Operation Manual(122 pages), had the correct connectors (works fine in playback mode). But now I'm realizing that I need a remote to simplify the recording part! Vendors selll Sony brand for $70+ (RMTD224A) or Phillips Universal for $35. I own a Phillips big screen TV and pick up remotes @ yard sales and other places for backups. One Philips remote I found seems to have more capabilites than just changing channels and sound. I discovered inside the battery compartment a model #CL019 (I'm guessing thats the model #). And hope it can work with my Sony RDRVX515 recorder. But I do not hav4 any infor on the CL019. |
