Quick update: I've again confirmed that an RTI TheaterTouch
is indeed on its way to my office, to be followed next week by the RF base and power sensors. RTI
is apparantly struggling to keep up with the demand for this product -- which makes me all the more
eager to actually see it in person. Universal Remote Inc.'s forthcoming Home
Theater Master MX-1000 appears to again have been delayed, now until May. Let's cross our
fingers; what I saw of it during January's CES 2000 show was very
promising.

Philips Pronto: It's been oddly quiet on the Philips front, with little news in the forum on
the recently discovered Pronto glitch. I've been trying for quite a few days now to speak to my
contact at Philips, however I seem to have been accomplished is cutting six second from the time
it takes to get through their automated phone system. Rest assured that the problem WILL be fixed
by Philips; it's just a question of how and when -- questions I hope to have answered for this
week.

CCF files: A few new Pronto system files are available this week, from
Geert Van Espen, Loran Richardson
and Rob Tonnesen. In addition, Pierre Perrier sent up a French
collection of television icons. Amazingly, we're now up to over
1300 device configurations -- but there's still huge holes in
covered components. If your system has ANY device that's not already available, please send it over
to us for inclusion!
