What's new for Wednesday March 1, 2000...
(Return to the March 2000 news index...)
Pronto CCF files: We've got updated system files by Andy Clement, Cary Gerber, Gary Werth & Mango Chutney. In the new Fun & Games section is a new Tom Hanks trivia file by Mike Bunting and a Towers of Hanoi game by George Fournaris.

I've revamped my Pronto television station logo collection by updating every BMP with new refined icons. I've also expanded the file by adding 60 new logos (for a total of 115) containing a wide variety of Canadian and American stations. LookTV and Bell ExpressVu digital services are also covered. All have been sized appropriately and dithered to the Pronto's 4-color palette to look their best. Check it out!

My CCF file has also been updated with a few fixes and refinements, the new channel logos as mentioned above, plus a Scrabble score history page (to keep track of who wins all the time!). My gallery file has also been added with new icons.

Marantz RC1200: Marantz expects their new RC1200 learning remote to be available shortly, however all current production is being routed to their receiver line. When that is satisfied, stand-alone units will ship. For now, check out our brief preview from CES 2000.

February's contest will be extended by a few days while I prepare the next one for March. This is your absolute last chance to get those entries in!
