Im an old Phillips Pronto guy. So I was never I fan of harmony. I think there software sucks. Particularly Mac version.

Was looking at Sofa baton but saw some older touchscreen remotes on eBay.
I have all modern equipment so I need something that can be current.

Any Suggestions. I have an iPhone and Mac.

I don't know where you are on the programming spectrum, but if you get into ProntoScript, look into TouchControl. While it's a very different programming style. You can recreate your Pronto on an iPhone (less the hard buttons). Pretty much, the limit is your imagination and you might be able reuse bits and pieces of your ProntoScript code. This is not, however, the "click and go" sort of setup style of a Harmony.

By the way, Harmony has stopped manufacturing, but there are probably still some units in the pipeline, If you haven't looked at their software in a few years, it has improved greatly from the original and you might be able to live with it, but it's not Pronto.

Currently, not with Bluetooth. Maybe if you asked, he would add that capability, however, it’s a two step project. First, Bluetooth communication must be added to TouchControl, then you need to find the Bluetooth protocol for Firestick.

I think that it would be much easier to work with Firestick’s IP protocol. Here’s a command list. I haven’t worked out the details, but it shouldn’t be too hard to send these via TouchControl.
