I have lost the remote for my Jarre Aerosystem One speaker dock, fortunately my parents have the same speaker dock and they have let me have their remote so that I can buy a Learning Remote with a minimum of 9 buttons to replace it

page 4 details all the remote functions

and here is what the old remote looks like it

have had a good look around on google and ideally what I would like is a cheap USB IR dongle that I can connect to my windows laptop and point the remote at the dongle, then press all the buttons on the remote one by one and it saves the HEX file on my laptop (it would be nice to do this for all my remotes around the house and have a back up of all HEX files just in case) ideas welcome folks :-)

the USB JP1 remote that many people buy is is the Nevo C2 $15 USD from China/Ebay, an old friend of mine got one to use with his Slingbox, so that could also be an option !
