I have Spring Window Fashions vertical motorized blinds that use a Auto-Vue remote control. The control has died and is no longer made. It is my understanding that I can buy a universal remote that is computer programmable, and program it with the Pronto Hex format codes 0000 006c 0000 0001 0001 0001 to open and close the blinds. Problem is that I cannot seem to find a universal remote that I can purchase that is capable of this (at least the features listed on various ones the I have looked at don't mention this. Since I will use this only to open and close my blinds, I do not want to send much.

Any ideas for a remote?

Here are about 100 cheap remotes that can do it. But the pronto hex you posted is nonsense. It couldn't possibly control anything. I hope you have more than that.

I think this one is your best cheap option, in the US at least.

You'll need 2 programs to get pronto hex into the above remotes: IRScrutinizer and Remote Master. The first will convert the pronto hex in to the correct format for the remote, and the second is used to load it into the remote.

Thanks for the response!
Here is a link to the pronto Hex codes for this remote:

For my blinds, the only function for the remote is to open and close. That is why I thought that I just needed to use the codes 0000 006c 0000 0001 0001 0001.

Do the codes on this remote central page make sense?

Sorry, they don't. Even the longer one makes no sense.

If those are the actual signals (open/close is a single pulse, and rotate is many identical pulses), then I can't think of any cheap remote that can do it.

Thanks for the reply and help with this. It may be less expensive and easier just to buy new blinds. I have a Harmony 1000 for my AV room, and have reached out to Logitech to see if that unit can be programmed, but I am sure that they will have the same response as you did regarding the goofy hex codes.
