Hi,
I have many remotes over the years, from Prontos to Harmony to Sonys so I feel comfortable with what's out there. However I have a relative approaching 90 who needs to simplify her remotes. In addition to her DVD remote (which she seldom uses), she has a Cox cable box, a Vizio TV and a Vizio sound bar remote. She's constantly mixing them up and having problems with sound or input, etc.

What I'd like to find is a simple single remote (learning in case codes aren't available) to replace everything. I've seen the Sony RMVL series, seems nice but still too many options that will confuse her. Is there a simple remote (on/off, volume, channel changing, etc.) out there. The simpler the better.

Thanks!
Bob

Sorry - I just did a search for elderly and found lots of resources. Sometimes my brain takes a while to click in....
