I am looking for a handheld device to use in conjunction with On Controls or iRule. I really like the flexability and scaleability of On Controls but as far as I know there are no wand style remotes that pair with it.

I have heard mention of using URC standalone remotes but I really don't like their style. They look clunky and out of place in a high tech environment.

Ideally I would like the remote to have a color touch screen, simple looking, and rechargeable. Hard buttons would be great as well.

The Harmony Ultimate One would be perfect if it wasn't for the fact that it's a Harmony, meaning I can't program it the way I want to. The location of the transport buttons aren't ideal either.

Any suggestions would be very welcome.

I did a little more searching. It looks like Pro Control's Pro24.r (v2) might be what I'm looking for since it will work without a control processor and retails for about $250 and a better profit margin than Harmony.
