Hi all! Thank you very much for this forum, I really need your help to find a replacement fothe remote of the popular Sunplus 1003AT, one of the cheapest and most sold DVB-T decoders in europe. (may been rebranded with several names like TAI-007B or TAI-006A).

It's very strange I can't find a replacement, I bought an universal remote but tried all 300 combinations without the right code (Only one was working a bit, but only some keys and with wrong displacement). Searched around google but only one offer for a twin-copy on ebay at 25 euro (shipping included), crazy price.

There should be an alternative for this remote (printed ad ws-518-1z on the circuit board), as thousands of these decoders were sold ad with really poor original remote quality, there should be interest.

Thank you for all your ideas about!

From what I can gather, it looks like Sunplus are suppliers of BD, DVD and Set Top Box ICs which can be fitted into any brand of component. If this be the case you'll need to search on brand of box for a compatible replacement, but be aware that most third party remotes probably won't cover all the functions of the original.

For the record, what is the make/model of universal you've tried? I've checked several Chunghop manuals and can find no listing for Sunplus.

Thank you for answer!
Yes it's a no-sense, this chipset/brand(actually I've never seen it as a "brand" with whom the devices are signed, it is just the firmware name and in fact the internet site exist, probably they produce chipset) is very popular among people who bought a cheap decoder and it works really good, great sensibility and amazing quality picture, but a pity for the remote quality and sometimes even the power supply (I've repaired 3 since now).

It should be a way to emulate it, I can't believe no one complained about the "not more working" remote and look for a new one, it should be a business.
I bought this: [Link: ebay.it]?

Universal remote model: TV-139F
It had one combination which worked with only some keys (and completely messy), and I discovered it testing "volume +", so I can't say where it is in the list. Just to have a kind of reference.

What about buy a programmable remote and test everything, is it expensive? Once I found the right IR code, may it be easier to buy cheaper remotes?
Thank you

The TV-139F is a TV not a DVB-T replacement remote so I'm not surprised that it has few codes that work - indeed I'm surprised that any worked.

The Chunghop e212 is specifically a 2 in 1 TV/DVB-T universal, but others that have DVB-T codes are the...

I'm not sure of their availability but a good place to start is AliExpress.

Quite a lot of the newer (cheaper) L designated models are learning only variants of previous RM models. It seems, however, that with this model Chunghop (being Chunghop) have bucked the trend.

Any feedback would be most welcome.
