The replacement remote for my newly acquired changer, RC-P0306, costs 57.00 USD new.
That's a lot of money to unlock basically one function (the MODE button, which isn't on the unit's minimalist panel).
I'd like to be able to group my CDs by genre, which would require MODE access. However, I can live without it.
Would appreciate feedback as to whether a less expensive option exists.
P.S. This unit, the CD-2260M, also accepts SL16 and XS8 controllers, though from what I can tell those are processors with a whole different range of functions.
