I am looking for a new remote to replace my basically dead Pronto TSU3000. The touchscreen died a few years ago and I've been using the hard buttons to get me by. But as a result, I have to use all of my remotes, which creates a cluttery mess in my room.
I have been looking at the above 3 remotes. What is the difference, if any between them?
Does anyone have any recommendations for other remotes? I don’t want to spend a ton of money, ($250 limit), but for the right remote, I could be convinced to exceed the budget some.
I'd really love a docking station for recharging.

MX-450 is the pro version of the R50 (adds things like backing up configurations and editing of macros). The R40 is, oddly enough, newer than the R50 and appears to have addressed some of the design issues I commented on regarding the R50.

So is the MX-450 better than the R40?
Can you tell me what some of the major differences between the two are?
Thanks for your response thus far. :)

The biggest differences between the R40 and MX-450, besides obvious design changes, will be that the MX-450 can be used with an RF basestation. Unless I needed that I would likely lean towards the R40, but please note that I've used the R50 extensively but NOT the R40.
