Hi Everyone,

I am controlling an NEC TV with RS232 connection, but no matter what command I send, it keeps replying: \x00 1 NG 2x \x0D \x0A

I'm gussing this some sort of error message, does anyone know what this means and what I should do about it?

I noticed that PC Control is grayed out in the TV menus, I wonder if this has anything to do with it?

Cheers

Hello
I am trying to use on/off switch on my nec tv remote control on my mobil.
I have followed documents on this subject very carefully without any success
Using esp8266 ir remote example in Arduino ide ,I have included the decimal equivalent of hex number obtained from on/off switch on the remote using IRrecvDumpV2 example in ide. To make sure I have the correct hex number I used the ones that repeated several times in a dark area.
Then I get the IP address from serial monitor and in a browser I get the on/off switch
Then in two different assembly with two nodemcu, using my browser I send the signal through ir diode to ir receiver and I get different hex no from the one I used in IRServerr example initially.
Pls give a hint to solve the problem
