I have many odd lighting displays that I want to control with plug in X10 modules. I want to make sure that I order the right type. Listed below is a list of the lighting displays and what I think I should use with them. Specifically I am worried about the 300W halogen lights.

2 lava lamps appliance modules
1 flourescent blacklight appliance module
1 flourescent sculpture appliance module
1 flourescent "pole" appliance module
1 lumiglass display appliance module
(those flat touch responsive plasma displays)
2 300W dimable halogen light lamp modules??

You would be fine using lamp modules or appliance modules. If you didn’t want to dim them I would suggest an appliance module since the lamp modules are rated at 300 watts. 300 watts only draws about 2.5 amps of current so both will work fine but you would need 2 if you used the lamp modules and you could use 1 of the appliance modules for both lamps.
