I own an old 2012 Taogel RGB lightbulb but have lost the IR remote.
Does anyone know if these bulbs are controllable using universal remotes? (I own a One for All remote)
If so how do I find a programming code for them?
I have written to Taogel, who are still in operation but had no response.
One for All have been more communicative but aren't sure they hold the information.
Any ideas?
TIA.

Sorry, never heard of that brand before. I’m somewhat surprised an actual light bulb would have IR versus Rf-based control, though.

If it is IR, and it’s like most cheap remote control LED systems out of China, it probably uses a poorly implemented NEC code format that may or may not respond to a fairly wide range of random codes. Which isn’t really helpful, but I doubt any universal is going to have a proper built in code set, considering I’m having a tough time even finding references to the brand on Google.
